Amelie Lens is playing her favorite techno tracks at Guendalina Club in Italy. You can check out these moments, some track names ans useful information below.
Amelie Lens is a Belgian electronic music DJ, record producer, and owner of the Lenske record label. Her debut release came on Italian imprint Lyase, and soon after a trio of releases on Pan-Pot’s Second State.
As a resident at Hasselt’s Labyrinth Club, Lens started curating her own nights under the name EXHALE. Lens has expanded the EXHALE parties further afield, with regular showcases at the London’s fabric club and at Creamfields, OFFSonar, Dour and Extrema festivals.
Lens gave up her work in the fashion industry in 2014, and began to DJ under the name Renée, playing mostly bass-heavy minimal techno, earning a residency at the Labyrinth Club in Hasselt, Belgium, where she built enough of a reputation to tour across Europe. More recently her high energy sets are known for their mixture of classic acid and tribal house influences along with more contemporary European techno sounds.
Truly one of the most exciting export products Belgium has to offer these days - Amelie Lens is taking the scene by storm ever since releasing her solid debut EP on the Italian Lyase Recordings.
The title track Exhale quickly began living it’s own life as a very recognisable and uptempo floorfiller.
Guendalina Club: Swathed by luscious green hills, a pebble’s throw from the crystal blue sea, Italy’s Guendalina sits proudly in the rustic surroundings of Santa Cesarea Terme, located on the south-east heel of Italy.
Built as a series of bars, a pool and a terrace around an open-air Arena fit for thousands, the action takes place as a chaotic cauldron of activity below a neck-creaking main stage fit for SW4.
Running from May to September, this club truly is one of the Italian greats, stepping it up in recent times and scoring as a whopping new entry to the poll despite opening back in 1997.
