This is 25th year of BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. The Legend Carl Cox kicks off the very first mix of 2018.


 
The mix starts with Pete Tong referring to Carl Cox as “one of the most legendary DJs in dance history”.There is a special blend of tracks and sound in the 2 hour mix, featuring new music from Anja Schneider, Nicole Moudaber, Dense & Pika, Eats Everything, Nathan Barato and more.

Carl Cox’s made his first Essential Mix back in October of 1994.

BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix will present King Carl Cox as their first guest for 2018.

 
Essential mix is celebrating its 25th year in 2018 and will present this year the biggest names in electronic music. Carl Cox will deliver a special two-hour mix in the studio. 

The mix will take place at 4 a.m. local time on January 6.There is not other artist confirmed yet but starting with Cox it means that it is a super start.
