Label: ARTBAT

Tale Of Us's label stated: Continuing our mission to cultivate optimism during this unsettling pause on planet Earth,

Tale Of Us curate the second volume of their epic compilation series, ‘Unity’. Featuring contributions from a cast of talent located all over the world and bound together by the paralysis of our culture.

‘Unity Pt. 2’ maintains the same premise as the first installment, gathering together a collection of 25 stunning cuts designed to transport you into another realm.

Right now unity is a key word for our global community. Clubs remain closed, lives are on hold and the difficulties that have arisen from this situation are ever present for many of us. The intention here is to raise awareness for causes dear to our hearts, through the power of music. Standing together for humanity, giving support to those who need it and using our platform to shine a light on the underrepresented voices.

On this huge compilation you’ll be graced with a multitude of sounds, from sombre, melancholy tones and introspection to brighter euphoric moments and pumping energy, with the space to meditate and transcend this reality into other worlds.

Travel back to the dance floor, join forces with your best friends, dance with a lover or simply close your eyes and travel inwards. From Mind Against’s spine tingling opener the bar is set high, staying there from start to end, when we’re met with the soul nourishing closer by British maestro Franky Wah.

Artbat was formed by two experienced deejays and producers from Kiev - Artur and Batish.

Their portfolio builds upon a series of about 10 successful releases that charted globally and conquered numerous dancefloors all over the world.

Today Artbat are among the most successful Ukrainian electronic acts and enjoy global recognition. Just a year after Artur and Batish, two experienced deejays and producers from Kiev, joined their forces as Artbat, the project has completed a rewarding transition from the debut release to performing at the Destino club, Ibiza.

The key to Artbat’s success lies within their powerful and inventive sound of the highest quality. Their tracks have an impressive capacity to fuel both intimate dancefloors and huge arenas with energy and drive. And these are just the reasons many renowned artists are attracted by Artbat’s music. Such dance music authorities like Solomun, Maceo Plex, and Richie Hawtin regularly spin Artbat’s tracks during their sets.

Since the emergence of their debut single ‘Mandrake’ Artbat’s discography has expanded to seven releases extra. Three of them appeared in the Beatport’s Techno Top 100 and their single ‘Confession’ has charted 37th in the Beatport’s Deep House Top 100.

Artbat’s track “Uplift” was released on 17th March 2017 on Diynamic Music climbed #4 in Tech House Top 100 and #7 in Top 100 All Genres Chart on Beatport.

Summer 2016 saw Artbat play Ibiza at Destino club. The guys successfully went on at Destino right after a series of trademark parties by Luciano, the godfather of Cadenza the label.

In February 2018, ARTBAT are bringing their first full EP release to Diynamic Music. The three-tracker “Planeta” starts off with the title track “Planeta”, a rapid-fire techno odyssey that might as well be taken from a relentless pursuit in a futuristic action movie.
This is followed by the gloomy bassline of “Prometheus”. Heavy on percussive elements, the track is divided in half by a cascading synth-break only to return with more layers of percussions, strings and the hypnotic bassline.
Closing off the EP is “Sand In Your Shoes” featuring London based artist Dino Lenny, who has previously worked with Madonna or Wu-Tang Clan and produced remixes for Underworld, Missy Elliot or Timbaland. The collab track is a dreamy Deep-House tune and a perfectly emotive way to finish the record.

The ‘Four to the Floor’ EP series is comprised of four different dancefloor-orientated tracks from different producers, from upcoming talents to long-established electronic music artists.
First up is ‘Zulu’ from Buenos Aires duo Brigado Crew and Argentinian producer Crisstiano. Drawing from their South American roots, ‘Zulu’ is a percussive track with a laidback yet exotic feel thanks to its echoing vocal samples.
Picking up the pace, German duo Adana Twins’ ‘Uncompromising’ features a driving bassline and clattering synths, building up in waves for a series of dramatic drops.
Next up is Ukrainian duo ARTBAT & French producer Rafael Cerato with ‘Uplift’, a track that slowly builds ambience with flittering synths before plundering into a hefty low end.
Rounding off the latest edition of ‘Four to the Floor’ is the atmospheric ‘Pretend To Fly’ from Definition. The 7-minute journey features wistful male vocals and distinctive arpeggios leading into the rich basslines characteristic of the Diynamic sound. With a relatively short career span, Definition has already had a slew of releases on Materialism and Underground Audio allowing his support to grow.
